WOOHOO a CTMH color challenge..thanks Kelly! 2 CTMH challenges in one night.
Kelly's challenge was to use 3 colors inspired from a bag you can see it here on her blog.
The colors are White Daisy, Sweet Leaf and Breeze (I substituted Ocean ink as I didn't have Breeze...but I did find some scraps of Breeze paper from my last years 6x6 paper sampler.
Another FUN challenge.
I used Sweet Leaf cardstock and cut 2 ovals, with my Coluzzle, out of Breeze and White Daisy. Then I stamped the flowers in Sweet Leaf and Breeze from the Dainty Thoughts SS. I pop dotted the flowers. The sentiment is from one of our Card Kits. Then I stamped a couple of small flourishes from the same kit in the upper corners with white daisy ( and promptly smudged them...you have to treat that pigment ink with respect). I added a bit of white daisy grosgrain ribbon from CTMH and it was done.
I can honestly say I have never opened my Ocean ink pad....but it looked great on the White Daisy. These challenges are great as they take you outside your comfort zone and push you to try new things...and this is good!
Thanks Kelly for posting this challenge!
Enjoy!
