Quickie Card…

 001

003

Just a quick card tonight as my mojo is not at  it’s best. I think it’s because I am working this holiday weekend and it’s already bumming me out :-(

I cut the butterfly with the Cricut Indie Art Cartridge and the borders with my new Fiskars border punch (thanks to a Joann’s 40% off coupon).

I challenged myself to work with 2 colors I don’t usually use and that don’t really go together LOL …I don’t know what I think of it. I am thinking I should not have used the kraft paper.

Supplies: CS CTMH, kraft CS LSS, Sentiment For Every Occasion SS CTMH, Fiskars border punch, Cricut.

Our temperatures have become a lot more tolerable and we had a spectacular Sunday.  I hope you are all having a great Monday.

Enjoy!

First of all, I missed you and your sweet comments too! THanks for always coming to visit me, and giving such uplifting comments to me! LOVE that I can call you my friend!!
NExt...LOVE this card! I hate when I have doubts about what I've created, or how it turned out...but you know what? Experimentation is KEY to finding great new ways to create art! I love the combo! I LOVE that butterfly, and I might have to get that cartridge now, lol! {David will say, thanks for enabling her Sarah! lol}
So glad to be back! And thanks for checking in with me and leaving such positive thoughts for me! :D

It's really cute, Sarah! Beautiful butterfly and fun border, and very summery colors (like Kathi said, everything looks great with Kraft)! Maybe if you stare at your card long enough, it'll cheer you up and you'll forget all about having to work this weekend. ;)

Sarah, don't you know that you simply cannot go wrong with a butterfly? I think it's impossible! Love what you have done here!

I'm so sorry to hear you have to work this weekend. Good excuse though to make up for it with extra crafting time, don't you think?
