Not a Christmas Card Post…

I go down to my ‘space’  and I just can’t seem to create anything I am happy with…Just got no Mojo flowing. So these are just simple cardstock,  stamp, and ink cards.  I used kraft (LSS) and Colonial White CS CTMH, stamp sets are Priceless love and Felicity CTMH, ink is Tulip and Grey Flannel CTMH, Pearls CTMH, Shiny glass dew drop thingies Hobby Lobby. OHHHH and I went around the flower and flourish with a Sakura Star dust glitter pen, it is really sparkley IRL.  I don’t know about the placement of the sentiment…I can live with empty space on a card, that doesn’t faze me, but……sigh, I need some creative juices to flow here!

So my kids built some pretty amazing  gingerbread houses the other day…there was some major candy construction going on LOL…I just love them! Little chimneys with smoke and crazy paving with graham crackers, they had a ball! My DS built more of a fort than a house ! They even have little sheds in the yard and trees. Hope you don’t mind me sharing here.

Well thanks for indulging me! Here’s hoping Mojo appears soon!!!

If I don’t post again before Christmas I wish each and everyone of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Enjoy.

Sarah, my love! :) I think you've made up this "missing mojo" story because it sure as heck doesn't look like it's missing! Great cards!!! The gingerbread houses are adorable! We've always used the store bought gingerbread house kits but I like the freedom the kids have with using graham crackers and stuff! Thanks for the inspiration! :)

Your cards are beautiful. You know me, I like them simply elegant and you have the gift. BTW - here's your mojo back, it wasn't working for me yesterday so I am kicking it out. - grins -
Love the gingerbread/graham cracker village. I just bought one of those kits and some extra candies for my son. We used to do a puzzle, but with the girls grown and gone I thought something different for him.
May the peace of Christ be yours this Christmas and a happy and healthy new year!

I love your cards Sarah! Doesn't look like you lost your Mojo! But I know what you mean....I keep walking into my crop room and looking around....nothing's working, LOL!

Looks like a ton of fun was had with the gingerbread....woo-hoo!

Merry Christmas sweetie! : )

I think your Mojo is just fine, but do understand that feeling when it's not quite what you had in mind! I hope you feel inspired again, soon!

Your gingerbread houses look outstanding! I can see that your kids had an absolutely creative ball! I have bought the kits before, but sort of forgot about it this year. Last night I found a kit (50% off) to make a house (well front panel of the house) using rice krispies! I'm sure you'll see how that turns out on my blog.

Merry Christmas to you all, Sarah!

Maybe the kids stole your mojo? Those are some amazing gingerbread creations!

I like your cards, so don't worry if you think there's no mojo. It's there!

These cards are beautiful, it's definitely nice to see something that isn't christmas related! lol.

Your kids did a great job on those houses! I used to be real big on the gingerbread houses, making them from scratch, designing the house myself... one year I made one so big it took two of us to carry it. I haven't made one in a few years though... I do miss it. Maybe next year.

Love the simplicity of your cards Sarah. The gingerbread creations are fabulous - my boys just had a look at them...they can't wait to make theirs. Cam says he really likes the tree and how the smarties look like ornaments. Wes likes the pretzels!
If I dont' visit again before the BIG day, enjoy!!! Best Wishes & Hugs,
Shanna :)

Sarah! I don't think I've ever seen a card of yours that I don't love...so even when you say your mojo is lacking your cards rock.
My kids said "WOW! about the gingerbread houses. I'm off to lift ups some prayers for your hubby now. Mine could use some, too. Working 15 hour days :-( But it looks like this job only lasts until Thursday so he'll be back to looking...

"Truly" you are "mad" and "deeply" in need of some therapy if after creating these cards you claim to have no mojo. These are wonderful!

Love the gingerbread village. Kara usually makes a house with her Nana every year but this year, Nana isn't coming so her and I will be baking tons of cookies instead. Lucky me. :)
