SK sketch 1 US sketch 33

Well it is Saturday and that means it is time for Unscripted Sketch # 33 woohooo. This one was a toughie for me…as you can see I flipped it. I am thinking I should have gone for a LO instead. My DS chose the colors  as this was his birthday card. All supplies are CTMH except the gold wire.  No supply list today as I am being lazy hee hee. Be the first to upload a card and grab an Unscripted Blinkie…or be our random winner each week and grab a winners blinkie :0) Run on over and check out the rest of the DT’s work…!

So did you all survive Thanksgiving and Black Friday? Did you venture out and grab some deals? I wandered out about 2 pm and grabbed up some fleece at Joann’s for $2.99 a yard. That was the busiest store I went to… Hobby Lobby wasn’t bad and Walmart was quiet. I was told Toys R Us was mayhem at 2am….that they were directing traffic around the parking lot is was so busy…crazy!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Enjoy!

Love it Sarah! fun & bright colors! Good for your for braving the crowds, I detest crowds, so generally avoid the big sale days if possible. We don't really have black Friday here in Canada, though this year there were lots of sales -they are trying to lure us to stay rather than crossing the border to shop the big sales. Luckily, my hubby loves shopping sales, so if we want something, he goes after it!
Have a fabulous weekend!

Fleece at 2 pm was a wonderful deal. It's the 2 am stuff I could never handle. LOL.

Enjoy the weekend!!

Gorgeous card Sarah, I love the detail of the curled 'ribbon' on the gifts! We do 2 thanksgivings when we go to NY so Friday is spent eating Polish food all day and I miss out on shopping the sales. But I love an excuse to eat for day #2!

I think your DS did a great job choosing the colors and you did a great job with the sketch, Sarah! I love the bright, fun colors and your accents are so festive!!

I'd rather pay full price than join the crowds...ick! No Black Friday shopping for me. Glad you didn't have big crowds, and it sounds like you got a really good deal on your fleece. ;)

What a fun and festive card! Love it! I had to look extra close at the background paper. At first I thought you'd punched all those circles! It's amazing.

I was out shopping, but not at any big name stores, so I didn't encounter any crowds (yippee). The Toys R Us near me had the shoppers knocking down the manager as he opened the doors at midnight. Which resulted in the police being called and the store being shut down. Can you imagine? What in this world is worth causing injury to another human being to try to obtain. Sad.

Hope you have a great week!

This card is amazing!! I love the little curlies. They add the perfect touch.

I stayed away from the madness on Black Friday. I used to work retail for many years and had to deal with that so no thanks!!
