Soooo I was playin’ with my CTMH Treetops stamp set and decided to make them look like trees in Fall. I used watercolor pencils and a blending pen so don’t be too harsh on the crappy coloring. Those circles in the second tree are really tiny and I tried really hard to stay in the lines. I still kind of like this though. The card is a 4x4 size.
Supplies CTMH Treetops SS, CTMH November Wordpuzzle, Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils, Blending pen CTMH, Autumn Terracotta, Colonial White, Chocolate CS CTMH, Autumn Terracotta, Brown Bag, Chocolate inks CTMH, Square Nestibilites die.
So you wanna hear something really silly….. all those of you who have a lot of STUFF will appreciate this one. I wanted a scalloped border around the central image SO I thought ahhh I will use one of my border punches. So I painstakingly punched around the square trying to line it all up….not too well I might add. Do I have a scalloped square nestabilities die in my cupboard right next to the square one…YES…did I forget I even owned it…YES!!!!!! How sad is that! It is official, I have too much stuff.
It is COLD, windy, and raining here…brrrr I want to curl up in a blanket with a cup of hot tea. Hope you are all keeping warm, safe, and well.
Enjoy!

I love this stamp set those trees have captivated my attention or some time now. I love your fall themed card and dagnabit about the scallops but hey its like something new was added to your stash! Beth
I am IN LOVE with this card!!! You are brilliant to make them fall trees:-) Totally laughed at your forgetting what you own....happens to all of us scrap supply hoarders!!
So cute, Sarah! You've inspired me to "revisit" this set!
About forgetting what you have, I've done it, too. Of course, in my case it could be senility. LOL.
Enjoy Tuesday, friend!
Great card!! I love the colors! You have given me the inspiration to play a little bit more with this stamp set!
And yes I hear you on the 'too much stuff'!! It is embarrasing how much I have accumulated!
You are so creative! I love these trees in fall colors. Great thinking, Sarah!
Oh and don't be too hard on yourself about too much stuff syndrome. It happens to the best of us. I do like that you were trying to be creative in making your own scalloped border. *Ü*
Have a super day!
This card is beautiful. I think you did great with the coloring job! That is how I always do my coloring, with the pencils and blending pen. I'm not so good with markers yet... lol
Love this card and your coloring gives it originality and character!
Talk about having too much stuff...while organizing recently I learned that I had FOUR gold gel pens. My DD was very happy when I gave one to her. I don't know how that happened. ;)
This is really nice Sarah, good job with it....and too funny about not realizing you had that scallop, I've done that before!
Try to stay warm : )
OMG, you are so creative!!! What a fantastic use of that stamp set!
I so love this card! Fall - what a beautiful season in Vermont ... it's my favorite season. The colors, smells etc. I absolutely am NOT going to laugh at having more stuff than you remember. Yesterday I donated a box of craft paper, embellishments etc. to the old folks home and you would have thought I'd given them a million bucks! Made me feel so good!
Thanks for visiting my blog and offering up some ideas!
What a great stamp set for a fall card! It is rainy and gross here too....I just want to go home and get back in bed!
Bwahaha! That's so funny about owning too much and it's so true!!
This is a fabulous card. So cute. Might have to copy it. ;-)
Such and incredible card, love your coloring too! These colors are so rich and warm. Perfection!!
Blessings,

This is so great! We have an "ick" day here, rainy and gray and chilly....I was thinking about building a fire and just chilling out...but then I thought of all the stuff I didn't get to LAST week when the little ones were sick and so I am doing laundry and cleaning house! Maybe that fire will happen after lunch?? HAHAHA
Gorgeous card, Sarah! Love the fall trees!
...And I forget what I have ALL the time, especially in paper! :)
Hugs,
Hollie
I love this card!
I really like the effect on those trees! Never would have thought to use those colors either--completely transforms the look of the stamp set!
