These 2 cards were really simple…BUT still took me a while to get them’ just so’…kind of ridiculous seen as they are SOOOO simple. Those trees are actually embossed in silver, as are the sentiments..and look really pretty IRL.
Supplies: All CTMH. White Daisy, grey Flannel, Grey Wool CS, Four Seasons, Say it In Style, and Festive Frills SS. Silver embossing powder.
I was over at Mere’s blog and read that one of her favorite bloggers had been diagnosed with cancer and was having surgery today. She asked that if you are a believer in the power of prayer that maybe we could pray for Kelley (you can read her story here) and form a prayer chain by posting this on our blogs. Read the details HERE. She is offering some blog candy for this cause BUT I am doing it because I have had people praying for me and I know it makes a difference.
Amy’s Sketch challenge extended until Sunday 6th
I have had several people post cards for Amy’s challenge see deets HERE…and there is candy being offered from me for the card she likes best for her sketch…I have quite a few duplicate SS’s and a WHOLE Tickled Pink set unopened ready to give away, plus some other goodies! I think I will extend the deadline to Sunday the 6th at midday incase anyone else wants to join in ;0)
I hope you are all having a great Monday and are fully recovered from your Thanksgiving festivities.
Enjoy!

Wonderful cards! I love the clean, uncluttered look. The silver embossing really gives a nice finished look. This is such a great stamp set - everything looks good with these trees. :)
I love embossing powder!! I'm sure it looks very pretty IRL. Seems that embossing powder will add the perfect touch to even the simplest things.
These cards are stunning!! Really!!
And I'm so glad you've extended Amy's challenge as I haven't had a chance to play along yet - - hope to have some time this week!!
Your "simple" always needs to be followed by "ly stunning" as in simply stunning! Love, love these! I'm hoping my girls and I will have the chance to try Amy's sketch before the 6th. That's so cool, that you two are doing that!!
Both are so clean and classy Sarah! And for me...doesn't matter how 'simple' it is...still always takes me a while to critique and situate!
I will pray for Kelley's surgery and recovery...you are so sweet to spread the word!
These are gorgeous Sarah. I love how that tree looks embossed.
These are gorgeous. I've long been a believer that "simple" cards are harder to create than elaborate ones because it's hard to decide what to leave off and make what stays look great. You've created two simply stunning cards, here!
Thanks for sharing and healing thoughts to your friend!
These are beautiful!
I'll be praying for your friend.
These cards are beautiful! (Thanks for spreading the word)
Elegant and gorgeous is what they are! Love them both!

Just beautiful!
I really wish you had made these earlier so I could have cased them for my Christmas cards this year. They are beautiful!
I am so glad you are giving an extention on Amy's challenge because Kara wants to participate but with school and activities, she hasn't had time. She is so excited!
These are simply beautiful! I am sooo stamplifting them!
