SO I was checking out my fav blogs and came across THIS card from my blogging buddy Cibele at Flower Foot Designs blog. It took my breath away….AND there is a GREAT tutorial on how to do the ribbon. Well I didn’t have any nice green ribbon..but I did have the wreath stamp, so I totally CASE’d her card. I am not good at making cards in bulk but I made 4 of these and 4 others using the same stamp. Took me FOREVER…esp all the coloring, cutting, and sticking on of all those little sticker thingies. I am a 1 card a night Gal LOL. Hope you don’t mind me copying you Cibele but I just LOVED your card. This will also do for Sparkle’s Christmas card challenge this week yeah!!!
Supplies: Colonial White CS CTMH, Old Paper Distress ink Ranger, Wreath wooden stamp Stampendous, little red shiny sticker thingies Stampendous, Copic, Stickles, Olive ink CTMH, Bigger brad CTMH.
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and are keeping safe if you are already travelling. I thought I would share a few Lego battle pics from my son’s hard work on his birthday. You just HAVE to LOVE Lego’s for inspiring creativity and imagination as well as manual dexterity and following instructions (not so well for Mom ). The pride my son has on his face after he has completed a project all by himself is priceless. He got a Wii and a DS game…but he went first to the Lego’s.
The droids and the clones are all set up against each other :0)
Sorry couldn’t help myself :-)
Have a great Sunday
Enjoy!

Sarah, your card is great. I just bought some of those sparkly things at Michael's last week.
Wow, legos! My children never really got into them much.
Gorgeous card Sarah! Your son does look very proud of himself. Good for him! :)
This card is gorgeous! Hopefully you'll see a post similar to this on MY blog linking back here... lol.
Your son is so cute!!! My son also loves legos. They are a classic toy, even I cannot help playing with them from time to time!
Love this card, Sarah, and am wondering if I could make it work with the Flourishes wreathes. I'll have to check it out.
I'm going to have to show Bjorn the photos of your son's Star Wars Legos. He'll be green with envy. Every time we're at Wal-Mart, he makes a bee-line for those Legos, and I just keep pointing at the age recommendations and telling him he has to wait ... He's six in January ... maybe ... One more thing about Legos, MY children still play with them. LOL.
Sarah this card is grand I love the wreath and those slickers really give it flair! Legos are the way to go I am imploring my to go this rather as they are one made in some other land toy that doesn't break right out of the box! Beth
Your card is gorgeous! I love how you made a door!
What a neat card Sarah! Very classy and elegant!
My niece and nephew LOVE their Legos!
When I saw your card, it looked so familiar to me...then I realized it was one I had starred in my reader! I had some ribbon and I tried the wreath myself. It was fun! I'm sure your friend is truly flattered that you wanted to copy it!
LOVE the lego pictures. Your son is and should be proud! One of my brothers was BIG into legos growing up, although he wasn't keen on sharing them. My girls have some of the bigger versions that they still play with. Fun memories...thanks for sharing!
Sarah you did an AWESOME job! I have to say I was pretty surprised at how popular my wreath card has become. I love those stickers and picked up a few at Michael's last week myself. You, Leslie and I must all be of a same creative mind.
Your son is so cute! I love what he did with the Legos. My daughter loves legos and I agree about the creativity it inspires.
Love your card! Your son is a cutie!
That is such the cutest card!
I've had to put together those Legos before- very challenging!
wow - that is a lot of lego! Good for him!
Your card is great, love the glitter on the wreath!

I love this card! I was trying to figure out how to do it myself!
Those are cute pics of your son!! I can remember my brother (and sometimes me) playing with legos for HOURS!
Beautiful job on this clever card (even if you did CASE it --you did a great job!)! Love the welcoming 'door' look, and the sparkles on the wreath look great...although very time-consuming. ;)
My son has the same Lego set/s and is forever playing with them. Looks like our guys (and my youngest DD...DS got her hooked too -lol) would have a great time together! What a cute little man you have. ;)
