More Buttons....

Sooooo I have been to Wal-mart again LOL. I have discovered they have the cutest buttons....so many possibilities so little time.
Now these are just very simple primary color buttons, but I wanted to do some flowers and these seemed to work. I am happy as I have finally got, not just inky fingers, but dirty ones too! I got to dig my fingers in the soil today. My perennials have been in dire need of some TLC and it finally stopped raining long enough to get out there and work. Hence my desire to do a flower card. I went with the colors I was seeing outside.
I used all CTMH cardstock....Honey, Holiday Red, Colonial White, and New England Ivy. The inks were Ponderosa Pine and Sunflower. I used the Nestibilities 2 1/2" square die to cut the center CS and embossed it, then left the die on the CS and rubbed some Sunflower ink around the CS. When you remove the die you have this cool border. Thanks Kathi for the idea.
The sentiment is from the CTMH Ms Gardner SS and the stem and leaves from the new Tickled Pink promotional SS.
It's a bit bright and bold but I like it.
OK my shout out tonight is for Leslie and her wonderful blog here. You should see her Flower Soft card here it is so beautiful!
Sorry I didn't get a chance to post last night but I spent the evening with friends checking out the NEW CTMH catalog and enjoying their company! The best news I heard was that you can order the new Wishes card book right NOW woohoo!!! I can't wait to see it.
I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday.
Enjoy!

Sarah,
This is great! I am lovin' the buttons. I never tried anything with a bunch of button until my Daydream LO, but now I am hooked!!!
Great work once again!

Love this! Your flowers are adorable. Great idea and I might have to try it with the oodles of buttons I own, but don't use nearly enough. Thanks for the inspiration.

What a great card. I don't ever think I've seen this done before with having buttons go around the center of the flower. I'm definitely going to have to use this idea sometime.
