Got my Summer Idea Book Goodies Today…

and made these cute, and quick, 4x4 thank you cards!

The first thing I opened was the felt die cuts…called Heartfelt..Whimsy…(cute name). I LOVE these. They are inexpensive and very eye catching! I got a few new stamp sets too…One of them called Fringed Phrases ( Love it!)

Not too much to say about these…very CAS. I used the kraft cardstock , some green embroidery floss, CTMH buttons and the leaves from the Tickled Pink SS stamped in Topiary ink second generation. The sentiment is from Fringed Phrases.

I really liked these as they were SO quick.

Ok I have to share something my son said to me…

I was repeating the familiar saying… “April showers bring May Flowers.” He says to me “Well mom what do May flowers bring?”

I say…”I don’t know Dan, smiles?”

And he says…”No mom they bring Pilgrims….ha ha ha ha!!!!”

Then he proceeds the crack up, as do I!

Although this may be one you have heard MANY times before…I had never heard it..So I thought I would share.

My Shout Out tonight is for Rachel over at Wonderfully Whimsy. Wow what an inspiration she is! She posts the most amazing art! I am in awe. I have received a card and 3D item from her personally and am here to say they are even better in person. She is a wonderfully artistic lady who’s blog was one of the first I ever started following. Just look at this!
