I got this stamp ages ago from Hobby Lobby for my dragon crazy daughter, who begged me to get it. I couldn’t think how I would use it. Finally, I just stamped and colored it…then I still couldn’t think how to incorporate it in a card. So I went simple and matted and mounted it. My daughter has already claimed it.
Black, red and sunflower cardstock from CTMH. Image stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black ink and colored with Copics.
My daughter tells me this is a Japanese dragon, not a Chinese one, as it has 4 toes….just in case you were wondering, now you know!
If you get a chance go visit Meredith over at Mere’s Lair…Such a fun read. She really is a wonderful blog author and her art is great! Check out this mosaic card. And you HAVE to check out the layout and card in this post.
Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!
Enjoy!

Wow, that is an amazing card! How you colored the dragon is fabulous! Thanks for the kind words for my Mojo Card:)...I feel way out of my league for the Mojo challenges!
GREAT card, Sarah! Love your coloring skills...he looks just like the dragon image I've seen on plates in Asian food restaurants.
Great work on the dragon. Thanks for the info on the toes...never would have known! LOL
Great card! Your coloring is wonderful! I don't know anything about dragons so the four-toe thing was interesting.
Love the story of the dragon's nationality! Thanks for linking to my blog...you are so sweet! And whenever I jump off into the Copics deep end I'm coming to you for coloring advice!!

SUPERB detail on the coloring! Even with my glasses I don't thin I could color that good (wink-wink)
My DD is a dragon-lover too! Beautiful coloring, and the simple matting lets the image pop.
