Card for Unscripted Sketches #05

sketch05

Ok this is for Unscripted Sketches 5th sketch.  I used CTMH Cocoa Cardstock with a little Colonial White and Parchment  thrown in for good measure. The Patterned paper is from DCWV The Green  stack. I used CTMH’s Treetops Stamp set and used Juniper, Twilight and  Cocoa ink. The flowers were cut with a punch and a Juniper Bigger brad was used to hold them in place. I took the pic outside this time, to see if I liked the lighting. The biggest problem is the wind!!!  And  I couldn’t  keep the camera straight while holding onto the card AND trying to keep my shadow out of the pic….sigh.

I am in the middle of packing for the 4 of us to go out of town for the next few days so I will keep this short. Hopefully I can have something posted Friday (I doubt it ) or Saturday.

Enjoy!

Thanks everyone, as always, for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment!

Sarah! LOVE This card!! CUTE, CUTE, CUTE images, and patterned paper you used there!!! LOVE the colors too! Thanks too, for always stopping in to leave me sweet comments:) Makes my day!!
I too, find it a challenge sometimes to take good pics! I try to do it by a window, to get the natural light. But I think your pic is fine:)

What a wonderful card, Sarah! I love every thing about it!

Do you have a window or something you could set your cards by to take pictures? If not, maybe get two pieces of 12 x 12 cardstock (white or black) and set them up, one on the bottom (your card would be on it, and one in the back. This might help you capture the card more easily. You might even set up a light nearby if needed.

Have a wonderful time! I know I will miss seeing your lovely creations, but realize it's for a good cause...

Great work on this sketch, I love the colors and your flowers up top. I haven't figured out the wind/shadow factor yet either, but the natural light shows. Thanks for playing with Unscripted!
