OK, is it alright to say that you are proud of your work???? Well I am proud of this Miss Anya.  I think this is one of the best I have colored yet.  I am on the Copic  learning curve that’s for sure. So Penny’s challenge is to use NO DP’s… I random stamped my colonial white card stock with clouds and rain.

I am NOT a random stamper…despite all the tips and tricks..so I stamped these in lines  :0)   And as you may recall from THIS post there is candy up for grabs for participating in this sketch challenge…hee hee.

Supplies: Colonial White, Dutch Blue, Grey flannel and Grey Wool CS CTMH, Nestabilities dies, Miss Anya SS TGF, Copic Markers, Prima Flowers, Cute little gem things that look like water drops form Hobby Lobby, TLC SS CTMH, Around The Block SS CTMH, Dutch Blue, Grey Wool, Grey Flannel,  Sunflower inks CTMH

Well I hope you are all enjoying a fabulous day with family! Please take a moment to be thankful for your family and the fact that you have the opportunity to be with them at the holidays. We spend our Thanksgiving alone as all my family are in the UK and hubby’s family are not in contact with us. Although I know there are times when you wish you could be alone for the holidays…be thankful you are not…we wish with all our hearts we could spend time with our family!

Have a blessed and safe Holiday.

Enjoy!

We are alone this year. All the people we spend thanksgiving with are in New England and we can't afford to fly home, so for the first time ever I am making thanksgiving dinner. Bryan did invite one of his friends so he won't be alone in the barracks today.

Your card is perfect and I've read the other post and copied the sketch. I will do my best to use it, oh I HOPE I can get into my craft room TODAY... lol, while the turkey is cooking itself... haha.

Happy Thanksgiving :)

So very cute, Sarah! Amy's Sketch is great, and your random stamping is perfect!

Hey! While our big families are close, all we have together are a few scattered hours now and then. What you had with your Mom and Dad was a significant block of time, and I was kind of envious of that! You created a lot of great memories during that time, and I just bet you'll be remembering them today!

Happy Thanksgiving, sweet friend!

Aw, that card is so cute, Sarah! Have a Happy Thanksgiving, whether alone or with family or friends, we all need to be thankful for the 'people' in our lives, not the 'things'!

What a darling card. Before I read your text after the card, I was thinking that the coloring was fantastic, especially on the hair.

I love the random stamped paper you made as well. Too cute. And great job on your daughter's sketch.

I'm sorry that you all are alone for Thanksgiving. I hope that it is still an enjoyable day for your family.

Such a nice card Sarah! Love it!

Happy Thanksgiving! We are usually alone on our Canadian Thanksgiving too, and I do miss my family. However, it makes what time we do have with them that much more special.
Cheers,
Shanna
