Mojo Monday 87 Card….

Mojo87Sketch

So after not doing a Mojo Monday for a while, I had a go again.

I used some new (to me) papers and felt stickers …Wild Saffron by K&C Company. I also used some of CTMH HeartFelts brackets, leaves, and Cocoa ink. The sentiment is from the TLC stamp set from CTMH. The blingy square is a CTMH Connections Club rewards rhinestone frame. I rather like this card and I really like the color combo.

If you have time pop over to Scramping with Carol and say hi…and look at her wonderful art. This layout is just so good. And this bath and body tray is SO cute.

I hope you all had a wonderful Wednesday. My day was busy checking out my home school curriculum for my 3 kids for next year. I have home schooled my eldest daughter for 3 years now, and have made the decision to home school all three of my kids the next school year.  The local public school is failing my children and becoming a very scary place. The teachers are wonderful and try so hard to make school a nurturing place…but sadly this elementary school is no longer a place I can send my children.  I have heard all the arguments against homeschooling but it is something I HAVE to do.

  Thanks for listening.

Enjoy!

Awesome, fun card! I love the felt dies! Good for you in your decision to do what YOU believe to be best for your kids! Finally, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. I don't know what it would be like not to live close to family ... even though there are times (not too many) when I wish I were 1,000 miles away. That doesn't include Mathias and Bjorn, however. I'd have to take 'em with me! LOL. Have a great Thursday!

Wow, what an elaborate card! Love it.
As to homeschooling...that is mostly what we have done with our six children although I have two that will be attending public high school next year. I've heard all of the arguments against public school :-) and agree with many of them, yet this is where the Lord is leading. I will lift you up in prayer...schooling three of them is a challenge (at one time I was schooling all six of mine!) but a worthwhile challenge. Let me know what curriculum you are using!
Marie with a :-)

What a great card, Sarah! Love all the felt...so nice and texture-y!

I think you have to do what is best for you and your family and no explanation is necessary. Being a former teacher, I know how hard it is and I recognize I probably couldn't teach my own children all that well, but I so admire those who can and do!

You got a WOW from me on your comment about the critter in your air filter! Man, they are creative sometimes.

This is a GORGEOUS piece of art Sarah!! Truly lovely!
I admire your commitment to the homeschooling thing! What do I know, I don't have kids! BUT...I teach Adult Ed, and I KNOW they system is failing our kids...so sad to me. Personally, I think it would be harder to homeschool...but SO MUCH MORE WORTH IT, when all is said and done! You get to actively participate in your child's education, rather than be frustrated at the school's shortcomings, or have to be involved in the politics...and it will mean so much to all of you to have had this time together! They will be much more educated and responsible, and grateful to you, when they are old enough to realize it! My hat's off to you Girl!!
