Another Roundie from Wishes….

008

010

This was a just for fun one that I got from the Wishes book……(YES it has a template CD ROM Jeanne..you heard right…BTW So does Originals.) Again I made the card using kraft paper  with my Coluzzle. I ran the foil (from CTMH now discontinued) through my Cuttlebug..that stuff is not easy to cut in a circle! The one paper is from the Rock Star Stack from DCWV, the other was a loose one I got from Joanne’s.  I silver embossed the sentiment from the TLC stamp set from CTMH and stamped the stars from the October Word Puzzle stamp set around the edge.  Quick and cute! I really like the foil in the Cuttlebug….If anyone knows what inks you can use on foil the ‘age’ it can you let me know ….thanks!

I have just started following Marie ‘s blog Isom Cre8tions and it is a TON of fun! Marie apparently has the ability to whip up a card in her lunch break!!!! I am SOOOO jealous. Her cards are really cute…like this one. And this one! Well they are all wonderful so pop on over and take a look!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Thursday….we are having more heat here and the grass is growing like crazy. We just invested in a reel mower!!!!! It is quiet, low maintenance and easy to use. LOVE IT.

Have a great evening!

Enjoy!

Very cool. I really like this, I think I need to get this book. I've heard nothing but good things from it. As for inks on metal, ours are water based so they don't work but Tim Holtz's line of distress inks and Adirondack inks by Tim Holtz through Ranger are alcohol ink so they work on everything. They're also so much fun to use. I suggest getting the tool that takes the felt squares to apply the alcohol inks (sorry I forget the name of the blending tool). You can also buy a blending solution that will change the colours of the inks to make even more colour to choose from. If you go to Tim Holtz's site he has quite a few videos you can watch to check them out .

You are amazing! I can see why your cards might take a little longer...because they are so detailed and incredible!

Neat card! That paper had never appealed to me before, but now...LOL I used that metallic rub on paste to distress mine, which I found at a local store that carries supplies that you sometimes can't find elsewhere. Gina K Designs website sells it though, if you don't mind ordering online. Tamikko's comment is a good option and you can find that at Michaels or Hobby Lobby!

Thanks for confirming the CD part...LOL
