I’m in a monochromatic mood…

I seem to me making cards based on color lately …My Christmas cards all seem to be white and blue and silver and my fall cards are heading towards cocoa and chocolate!

I picked up a bunch of card magazines at the store the other day and my first card was inspired by one I saw in the magazine…but can I find it now? NO! Nothing special but I was overjoyed to be able to use my favorite stamp Four Seasons. The second card is overly simple because I just couldn’t think what to do with it….I feel a card surgery coming on…I just LOVED that little wooden stamp from Hero Art’s I think. I really just stamped it to see what it was like then used some scraps to put it on a card…cute image.

Supplies: Colonial White and Cocoa CS CTMH, Grace PP CTMH, Cocoa Ink CTMH, Four Season’s SS CTMH, November Word Puzzle SS CTMH, buttons CTMH, Ribbon my stash, Fiskars punch, Hero Arts SS.

I am so glad everyone liked my wreath bling Christmas card , thanks for all the lovely comments. We are busy here all the time it seems with swimming 3 nights a week, Church groups for me and the kids on Wednesdays and every other Friday Girl scouts! From everything I have been reading on blogs I think I am not alone. Life seems to be flying past at the speed of light..like it is on FF or something. I need to keep making time to stop and enjoy what is around me.

Stay safe and Enjoy!

ETA Kim informed me I should enter this in Practical Scrappers this week as I used a punch..so I did :0)

Great cards! The monochromatic looks great on both of them. And what a nice look the triple-stamping of the tree. That is one of my favorite stamp sets - you can do so many different things with it.

LOVE your cards, Sarah! The top one is stunning, and certainly, no surgery is in order for the second one. Love that Hero Arts image and have been eying it for eons.

I had a busy week, too, and don't know how you young ones do it. I'm pooped. LOL.

Have a great weekend, sweet friend!

Your monochromatic cards are beautiful! And I really am enjoying the larger pictures too, that way I can see all the detail...makes it easier to copy! :-) TFS
