Another Quick Card

001

004 002 003

Well I got my inspiration for this card from a TV ad that I saw (can’t remember which one) and I grabbed a scrap of paper and sketched it… I really love how this turned out ( for a change.) I don’t own a square punch…which you really need to get all the squares even..so I used my Nestibilities small squares to cut them all. What a great way to get nearly all the papers of a paper pack on one card! I just LOVE these papers but haven’t been able to work successfully with them. I whipped out my sewing machine as well and I was done.

Supplies: kraft CS, Basic Grey Urban Prairie, Thickers stickers.

I am enjoying this beautiful weather immensely… and hope that you are having wonderful temps too! My kiddos are having a blast swimming and Allison actually beat her instructor at the butterfly in a race !!!!! Go Alli. Life is being good to us and I thank God for our blessings daily. It is soooo easy to focus on the negative instead of keeping the big picture in our sights. We are all healthy, have a roof over our heads, are well fed, and loved! What more is there?

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Enjoy!

So cute Sarah. I love this idea and think I might have to scraplift it. Love the sewing on it as well.

I'm glad to hear that you and your family are doing well and that you've got so much positive going on in your life.

What a fantastic simple card! The stitching around the edge is the perfect addition. I really love all the kraft paper cards you have made:)

Both of these cards (this one and the kraft card using the punch leftovers) VERY CLEVER! LOVE them! Such a 'crafty' girl you are, eh? I really need to use my sewing machine more too! LOVE those letters too!
Glad you're having great weather too! & Fun at the pool!

Fabulous card Sarah, I love the patchwork feel.
Please send some sun our way!!! The rainiest June ever, and July 1st has brought nothing but RAIN and it's COLD!!!!

It may have been quick, but it sure packs a punch! LOL It's gotten downright hot here lately, but I don't really mind it.

I'm finding I am enjoying this summer so much...maybe it's because the girls are just a bit older and just plain fun to hang out with. *Ü*

Thanks for the great reminder to relish the wonderful blessings we have and to let the rest just roll off our backs. (that is more timely for me than you will ever know) I think I was "meant" to read your blog this evening!

Big hugs to you!
