A Quick Little Card and a Blogging Break…

This is a quick card I put together mainly so I could use my glitter embossing powder and my new candle edger punch.  So it isn’t one of my best. I am tired and lacking in Mojo.

Supplies: Vanilla Cream, Blush, Desert Sand CS CTMH, Black Ink CTMH, Kid Quotes SS Inkadinkado, Zing Pink EP, Martha Stewart Cupcake punch, EK Success Edger punch (Candles)  Swiss Dots Folder Cuttlebug.

So I have had this weird stressed out feeling all day…like a pressure. I do have a busy 2 weeks coming up, swimming lessons every day, errands and housework in the afternoons and VBS for 2 hours every evening! I work this coming weekend then I have to get my oldest off to Girl Scout Camp for a week. SO I decided to take a blogging break for a week.  I will still have my next Saturday Unscripted Sketch post …but other than that I will not post until Tuesday 21st. It is also my youngest daughters 8th birthday coming up at the end of July and I have an album I want to work on for her instead of a card and it is a big project.  I will probably still have some  time to blurf and leave some comments…..but other than that I need some time away LOL :-) I hope you will bear with me, and that  I will  have some fun stuff for you when I get back.

Have a wonderful Sunday my friends!

Enjoy!

Cute card, Sarah! Looks like mojo to me. The new embossing powder and edger punch look like fun. I'd call you an enabler with the exception that I couldn't squeeze one more punch in any one of the three drawers that hold 'em. A little jar of EP ... maybe. LOL.

Good for you to take some time off if you need to. I've done that myself. I do appreciate the warning, however. More than once I've found myself worrying about a "regular" who abruptly stops posting. That's when, after a couple of days, they get the "Are you OK?" email! With one less thing to do, enjoy your busy couple of weeks. Kids grow up - fast! Take care, friend!

Hey Sarah,
Sounds like you are going to be busy, busy, busy! I was thinking that summer was going to be my time for doing as much creating as I want...I'm realizing that was fantasy thinking! Anyway, have fun with the VBS and swim lessons and such. And of course I'll be looking for more of your wonderful work when you return. Great card!

Such a cute card Sarah. I don't think your mojo is missing at all.

Good for you to realize that you're feeling a bit stressed and that some time off in the blogging world will help. I hope everything goes well in the next couple of weeks for you and I look forward to your return.

Like Kathi, I appreciate the heads-up as I would worry like she does.

I look forward to seeing what you have been up to when you return!

Huge hugs to you. And thanks mucho for the email. You put a huge smile on my face this morning. You're awesome!

Hi Sarah- You always post the cutest things and I get inspired all the time!
I can totally relate about the busy summer- I thought I would just spend relaxing days with the kids by the pool but it doesn't work out that way!
See you when you get back!

Sarah, this is fabulous! I love the saying and how it's written! These colors work well together! The sparkly cupcake is a fun touch! Well done!
Good for you taking a break! Life can get so busy, can't it!
We start our school again in Aug...if the weather is really hot and the kids aren't spending hours outside, I figure why not get some schooling in. It's nice to be done in April that for sure!
take care!
Blessings, Maria
