I decided to go a little pink tonight…and I think it looks great with kraft. The tree is cut from DCWV patterned paper and then I cut out an extra trunk and pop dot it on top, I like the effect. I used one of the new Spellbinders Borderabilities Tulip that I won the other day. I liked the little tulip shapes that punched out so much I incorporated them in the card. (PS if the tree looks a little beat up, it’s because I dropped it on the floor after it was all ready to go on the card then rolled over it with my chair!!!!!!! I was too lazy to start from scratch.)
Supplies:kraft CS Hobby Lobby, Blush CS CTMH, DP DCWV The Stack 6, Embroidery floss, Buttons CTMH, Sentiment Hero Arts, Hollyhock ink CTMH, Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pens Rose Star and Pink Star, Spellbinders Borderabilities Tulip.
I have been so busy the last couple of days, it was all I could do to squeeze a card in LOL. I just got back from picking up a quarter of a cow that we bought, all 229 lbs of it! I have since learned that this is a LOT of meat and it nearly filled our downstairs freezer. So very cost effective though. My husband asked for liver (gross I don’t eat it.) and the heart…What am I going to do with a heart????? I guess I could thaw it and use it as a teaching moment….Oh yes..I almost forgot…we got the tongue too! Any ideas on what to do with these cow bits would be greatly appreciated. Oh and Kathi…it is a Minnesota cow so I am sure it will be extra yummy :-)
You have to check these mini albums out. A fellow CTMH consultant called Wendy made them for Girl Scouts and they are soooo cute. Please leave her a nice comment it will make her day.
Thanks for ALL the great comments on my Mojo card the other day..I think I am up to 30, a new record for me. I appreciate each and every one.
I hope you are all having a wonderful Thursday!
Enjoy Friends!

I'm lovin' this card for so many reasons. It's so darned cute! I love, too, that you run over stuff with your chair. I do it all the time.
A Minnesota cow! Good for you! I grew up with lots of cows and all the work that went with 'em. Thus, I knew early on that I wanted to be a "city" girl when I grew up. LOL. As for the extra "parts" your hubby requested, I have no clue ...
A-that card is fantastic. I love the pink tree (chair tread and all)!! wink!
B-I'm not speaking from personal experience or anything, but make sure that the freezer door is ALWAYS shut properly, so you don't loose the entire cow...I'm just saying.
GREAT card and GREAT colors! Pink is my fav...you really can't go wrong with pink:)
I have no idea what to do with a liver, heart and tongue...but I do have to admit that I HAVE ate cow tongue before...is that gross?:) It was for science class in Jr. High:) Must have made quite am impression since I still remember. I don't know how they prepared it, but I don't recall it tasting bad...just saying:)
Sweet card! I had to laugh about the rolling your chair over the tree bit...I've been known to roll over a few things myself :-)
Ha ha...totally can not tell you ran over your card! TOO funny! This card rocks my world! seriously...I love it. Oh and your mojo monday card...somehow i missed that...that is my FAVE of yours! Pure awesomeness!
Lovely card Sarah. I love the paper and that tulip border is so pretty. How fun that you won that.
I can't believe that 1/4 cow is 229 pounds. That's a lot of beef. And I'm afraid that I can't help you with what to do with the tongue, liver, or heart.
Loving the punched tulip border!
OH it is so pretty pretty pretty Sarah! The Tulip Borderability is GREAT on there!!
Delicious little pink card! I am so lovin' your kraft cards! This dp is adorable and the tree is, WOW! The tulip border is just gorgeous. Great job!
Cute card, love the pink with the Kraft! Okay, the extra parts. I'm sorry, but if my hubby did that, I would simply have to make them *disappear*! No way would I cook any of those things - and I grew up in beef country! Literally, we grew up on beef, but Mom never ever made us eat any of the unusual stuff!
Cheers,
Shanna
Just darling! No help w/the beef parts though. Sorry.
Hi, Sarah! Thanks to your you & your mom for stopping by my blog & commenting. Love your paper projects here--so cool.
Best,

Oh my, what a fabulous card! Love the pink and the tulips, it is perfect!
this is super cute. I love the tree and the punches!
What a cute card. I love all the details!
This card is so cute! I love that tree and the cut out tulip trim... so cute! Thanks for your comment on my card!! :-)
What a flippin cute card!!! As far as the cow bits go...no help from me. I've never eaten liver, tongue or heart and wouldn't have even the faintest idea on how to cook em'!! Kudos for your bravery! :O)
Such a cute card, Sarah. Love the buttons on the tree and the little tulip cut-outs. Very sweet.
Love this card, Sarah! Congrats again on your win...very exciting! Your details are perfect. I love seeing your growth as a crafter. It's very inspiring to me.
Haven't a clue what to do with those parts, but maybe if you Google it...good luck! And if you taste any of it, you'll have to let us know how it was.
Oops...forgot to say I don't think you can be a true crafter if you haven't rolled over SOMETHING! LOL
