A Fun Froggie Card…

I had a lot of fun with this card…..A lot of cutting too :-). But I am happy with the result. I have seen a few window cards around in Blogdom lately and wanted to give it a go. So I went with a froggie pond. I got this set from CTMH on one of their sales and it hasn’t seen ink yet. I hand cut the pond from the 2 layers of cardstock and used foam tape between them then layered acetate underneath. the back of the card is blue so when it is closed it looks like a pond. I used a Sakura Gelly Roll pen to make  the little waves and the whites of froggie’s eyes. The dragonfly has little vellum wings. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the lily, I just couldn’t get it to look right. Oh well I think you will figure out that’s what it’s supposed to be.

Supplies: cardstock-Olive, Bamboo, chocolate, (and the blue can’t remember which one it was, sigh) CTMH, stamp set Frogs CTMH, sentiment CTMH, Acetate LSS, Vellum LSS, ink Olive, Ponderosa Pine, Bamboo, Parchment CTMH, marker Olive CTMH.

I hope you are having a great Friday, I am working the weekend so apart from my scheduled Unscripted Sketches post on Sat I will see you all on Monday. Have a safe, happy, relaxing, and wonderful holiday weekend!

Enjoy!
