Inside the card…

This is my card for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. The picture above is the inspiration for my card. I just LOVED that wallpaper (on someone else’s wall though LOL) and that was the basis for my card. I even took the baseboard and used that in the card , scoring lines on my white cardstock. The white pattern is embossed on the kraft CS. I then pulled in the blue  for the sentiment and for the bunch of flowers. At first that’s what I thought I saw sitting on the desk….but now I look more closely at the picture I am not sure there are any…oh well !

White Cardstock, Stamps, brads, embossing powder, and Ocean ink CTMH, flowers are Prima. The flower pot is PTI and the kraft CS from my LSS.

I have wanted to participate in one of Cath’s Tuesday Triggers for ages, so fun and so inspirational. I have also been so inspired to spend more time on the inside of my cards too, it’s like making a whole other card.

Well we got an ice storm here in Des Moines…I think we got .30 inches of ice. My birch tree is laying on the ground and my crab apple is laden and bent. It took me hours to scrape the ice from the drive..but I was too tired to take pictures. I did get some shots of the grill on the  deck…:0)

DSC_0002  Even my fearless hubby wouldn’t grill on that!

Take care and thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy!

Your card is gorgeous! I absolutely LOVE the colors.

That's quite a photo, too. I think you are a couple of days ahead of us weather-wise. It's supposed to snow for several days but only after it has rained first. Ice. Ugh!!

Wow Sarah! Did these ever come out nice! Love how the colors pop! And I love how you scored the lines to look like the baseboard! Good luck with all that ice! Oh my goodness - how sad about your birch tree!
Keep safe!

This is a stunningly gorgeous card, Sarah! WOW!! You pulled it together perfectly!

Your poor tree, that's so sad, as is seeing all that ice on your grill...brrrrrr! I can't imagine having to scrape all that ice! Please keep safe and warm!

What a beautiful card! The colors are just gorgeous. LOVE the way that white embossing looks on Kraft...might have to borrow that idea from you. The blue flowers just make everything POP!

That is some pretty serious ice you've got there. Be safe.

GORGEOUS card!!!! I love the detail and contrast!

My family was just telling me last night about that ice storm you all had... my sis has an inch of solid ice on her deck up in Ames.. argh. That's nasty stuff. I love snow, but you can keep the ice!

:)

Beautiful card! I love how the picture inspired your card.

That ice is incredibly beautiful, but I don't envy you at ALL.

I have to agree with everyone that the white on kraft is awesome. But that ice? Ummm you can keep.

Your card is so reflective of your inspiration pic and it's beautiful. I really like how you added the scoring lines...nice touch!

Your BBQ looks cool (even though you can't use it like that), but I'd say you're pretty fearless too if you took the time and muscle to de-ice your driveway.... Me, I'd likely have left it for my fearless hubby. lol
