A Mojo Card…

Mojo120Sketch

So my hubby takes one look at my card and says “How in the heck are you going to mail that!” HA HA ….I make cards for the love of making them…not FOR people…how twisted am I. (That’s a rhetorical question BTW, just in case you felt the urge to answer.) So obviously this card follows the Mojo Monday Sketch 120 AND Stamp Somethings New Something challenge. This card is an old meets new. I am trying to use up some old papers, Boom Di Ada, and the sentiment is new from PTI, my Christmas present to myself. I love virgin stamps :0) never seen ink…how many do you have that have never been inked, shhhh I won’t tell!

All product is CTMH except the PTI sentiment. My card base is Barn Red CS , I clear embossed some Sweet Leaf CS with Spot On Backgrounds and sponged on some Olive ink. The flower is punched from the Boom Di Ada Lv 2 patterned paper and finished with a button and some Waxy Flax. I used Boom Di Ada for the other PP and a Fiskars border punch for the bottom. I cut the banner and stamped the sentiment from PTI in Barn Red ink. The buttons I added to follow the sketch and the butterfly I added because there was pink in the PP and I thought I needed something else pink. I am not usually a big distresser or big on busy cards but this one was fun to do. The photo does not do it justice.

Well it is still colder outside than in my freezer and we are getting some more snow tomorrow…not as much as I know you guys east of us have gotten. It is even snowing on the Isle of Wight (my home) and it hardly ever snows there…Global Warming sucks!

OHHHH have you seen that you can now cut your own stamps with your Cricut AND emboss with anything in your cartridge! HOW STINKIN COOL IS THAT. I saw all the attachments at Hobby Lobby. I can’t wait to try it out.

Stay safe, well, and warm!

Thanks for stopping by!
