I Love You…..

This card is for Card Patterns sketch #47 and for the Practical Scrappers challenge this week..Embossing. I used some pink CTMH cardstocks and a sheet of kraft cardstock for this one. I embossed the Hero Art’s cling stamp (it didn’t cling that well…kept falling off) with CTMH silver EP and colored with Copics and Sakura Stardust glitter pens…sparkly IRL!! Then I added some ribbon from my stash and some bling from Walmart. The I Love You sentiment is CTMH stamped with CTMH ink. On retrospect I should have matted the heart image..but I couldn’t get it off the card without tearing it so I left as is..oh well!

I managed to get some shots of my trees..would you believe that they are still covered with ice…all the trees around here are looking so sad…lots of branches down and schools closed due to power outages. We are OK thank goodness!

Well take care and thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy!

Whew, I got to this one before I had to scroll through TWENTY THREE comments like your last card post :-)
Your cards are always awesome and I'm really enjoying your photography.
BTW - the calendar page was of my (second born)son, not my hubby :-) But he looks a lot like his dad 'cept Scott's rather gray and somewhat wrinkly now :-)

Beautiful card! I love what you did with that big stamp. I love the embossing.
Weather is such a pain. I feel so bad for your trees. They do look pretty. Hopefully they will be fine. I am about to leave for work on icy roads. All the schools around my school have a 2 hr delay or are closed but we are not. I am going to dive very very slow.

Another great card Sarah! I love that ribbon, it goes so well with the colors and bling.
The ice is so beautiful but so devastating. We had a storm like that here last year and some schools were closed for a week. Luckily we live near a hospital so our power is never out for more than a few hours. Stay warm!

Your card is gorgeous Sarah. I love how you did the heart. Great job on the sketch.

I just can't get over that ice. I've never lived anywhere where it does that. Crazy.

This one is really lovely Sarah...and I think that heart doesn't need it's own mat, it's PERFECT just like this! Love the colors, the ribbon on the side and that strip of rhinestones...way cool girly!

And look at that ICE! Stay warm sweetie : )

I really love how you did that heart!

It's too bad that ice is so damaging, because it's so beautiful to look at. Glad you all are doing well!

Your card is gorgeous, Sarah! Love the colors! Surprised to hear about the Cling stamp that wouldn't stick. That's a bummer.

While the ice has got to be miserable, it sure made for some cool photos. Love the one of the berries. And it's raining here as I write, which means I may have a photo opt and a little treachery of my own to deal with this weekend.

I'm staying close to home. How 'bout you?

Your heart card is soooo sweet! Love your silver embossing of the darling image and the pastels you used to color it with (bummer it wasn't sticking though). That ribbon goes perfectly too! Very cute.

I'm so glad that you're okay with all that ice and snow! You're doing a wonderful job with your new camera, and the pics of your iced 'cherries' look professional! tfs

I absolutely ADORE your card! It is so cheerful and pretty. Glad you're doing okay despite the ice. Reminds me of a Kansas storm we had last winter. Stay warm!
