OK I am a day late and a dollar short…but I loved this sketch at the Card Patterns blog and went ahead and did it anyways. I fell in love with the Bella papers almost as much as I did the Unforgettable and Emporium papers…but I haven’t really used them much!

ETA...This also qualifies for the Pile It On Challenge this week..woohoo.

Supplies: CTMH Bella papers, CTMH clear embossing powder, CTMH Pansy purple Ink, CTMH For Every Occasion SS , Free Spirit SS, Tickled Pink SS, Fancy Cuts Borders, CTMH Brads, Ribbon from Nellie Blog Candy!!!!

Well the Birthday party was FUN and tiring! It was a breezy 73-5 here in Des Moines and the kids were shivering after playing in the pool/water slide. Here we are, August 1st, in Iowa and our high is in the 70’s?????? Go Figure!

SO I have a question for you…..Have you ever bought an outfit or something for your kids/self because you had the paper to match at home and thought it would go well on a layout LOL…Like scrapping in reverse..matching a purchase to your beloved paper???? Well I caught myself doing this the other day and was cracking UP at me! I was wondering if you had ever done anything similar.

Here are a couple of pictures of Amy with her album..

Oh, wow! Your card is gorgeous. Love the colors and the Bella paper, the embossing, cut out flowers, etc., etc. Your take on the sketch is great - one that would have scared me off. I sometimes struggle with the simplest of sketches. LOL.

While it could have been warmer, I'm glad your weather was conducive to outdoor play. I remember the kids' birthday parties as being extremely exhaustive. Sounds like that hasn't changed. Glad it was a good time.

About purchasing outfits to go with paper, I haven't done it ... yet!

Love the photos of Amy and her album. If she doesn't already, someday she'll realize all the love that was put into that little book, and she'll appreciate it big time!

Have a great week, Sarah!

Oh Sarah! Like the others, I adore this card and for all the reasons mentioned. It's beautiful.

Speaking of beautiful...your Amy definitely is! She looks absolutely thrilled with the album you made for her. Could her smile be any bigger? She's adorable!

I'm glad you braved the not quite as warm as you'd hoped weather to have some birthday fun. It's warming up here, so maybe if I blow towards the east, it might head your way? LOL

I don't think I have actually done what you asked, but I sure have thought about it! LOL
