Quite a few more seeds missing in this one! I took these pics from my deck with my little camera on max 10x digital zoom…not too shabby. I had to put the camera on the deck rail though as the wobble at that extreme zoom was pretty bad. These guys are also feasting on my Black Eyed Susan’s as well. I have a huge sock of thistle seed (Niger) out for them as well. They have such a lovely song. My DD, Allison, and I love to watch birds and even counted birds all winter for the Project Feeder Watch count site. We have some pretty cool shots of Hawk’s feasting on our little guys, and even a bald eagle shot.
Here is a little card I made up really quickly using the NEW Sept SOTM from CTMH. You can see it in the Catty when it is available for customers. I haven’t even got my consultant one yet :0( This is a GREAT set ,though, and I love it. It reminds me very much of the Treasure Life SS that was SOTM last year. This card is now in the trash however! One of my cats decided that out of a nearly 3000 sq foot house, that they would PUKE on my cards! I had left them out on the coffee table after taking photos. This card bore the brunt but a few of the ones I posted for Krista’s challenge were also beyond saving. Ah well, such is life.
Well have a wonderful Sunday…Iowa has suddenly realized that it is actually Summer and decided it better make up for lost time on the temperature front! HOT HOT HOT

And I got a real chuckle out of your sunflower seed thieves because we just had a 'theft' of tomatoes from our hanging tomato plant on our deck. The chief suspect is a squirrel. (and I just happened to post a story about it on my blog last night)
I love those bird pics! And what cool big old sunflowers! One of our neighbors has them growing so tall over the privacy fence--we always admire them when we drive by.
