Round Gift Bag….

021

022

This would be perfect for a house warming gift. On my little getaway my friend Jessica brought her Cricut Expression…with the Plantin’ Schoolbook Cartridge (I think)…and one of the things that this cuts are these CUTE little round gift bags. I used some of the new fall papers from CTMH called Sweet Home. I borrowed a bit from one of the images in the new catalog and this is what I came up with.

Supplies: CTMH Sweet Home Lv 2 PP, CTMH Welcome Home SS, CTMH Buttercup,Garnet,Heavenly Blue, and Indian Corn Blue Inks, CTMH Brads, some pop dots.

This was a ton of fun to make. Thanks Jessica for letting me use the heck out of your new Cricut!  I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday, the weather here in Iowa is just beautiful.

On a personal front I find I am cycling through some major ups and downs…some days it doesn’t feel too bad and others it is like the weight of the world is pressing down on me. I don’t know if this is ‘normal’ in our situation, but I am having a hard time with these extreme mood swings. Ok, thanks for letting me unload once again. As the very wonderful Jeanne says if you lasted this long in the post thanks for listening.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Enjoy!

That is the most adorable bag! How fun to get to play with the Cricut Expression...if only it wasn't so expensive:) Those new papers are darling too. I can't to get my hands on the new catty! Keep hanging in there:)

What a cute gift bag!

Sorry to hear about the emotional roller coaster--I do think it is completely normal. A very good therapist once told me "it's okay to get mad at God sometimes, He can handle it."

Still praying for you!

Hi Sarah, I love your gift bag. I have made that one put had a hard time gluing it together. Do you have any tips?
Thanks for the nice comment on my card. The squares are all one stamp. It is from Stamp TV and called Inspiration Mosaic by Melanie Muenchinger. You should take a look at all the great cards that have been made with this stamp. It is amazing.

Fantastic project! How wonderful that your friend was willing to share the use of her Cricut. I sure wish there was a way I could rent one, because I don't think I could ever afford to get one for myself. LOL I'll have to use my original Cricut in new and creative ways. LOL

Yep, the roller coaster of emotions is pretty normal, at least in my experience. Not knowing what's around the corner is the hardest part. I guess that's where having faith comes in. It will turn around at some point. It's just hard not knowing when that will be. Hugs!!!

That little bag is adorable! Love the way you've used the paper. How's that for some back-patting? You deserve some, too! ;)

Love this, Sarah! I "need" to get some stuff from the new CTMH catalog. I LOVE that couch!! As for the Cricut Expressions, it's on my "After I Win the Lottery" list. LOL. It sure does some cool things though - especially the boxes.

As for your ups and downs, they are completely normal and to be expected. Not so very long ago, my world was turned upside by a family situation. It was like being on a scary roller coaster. Uncertainty is hard, particularly when you don't know when the ride will end. Just take care of yourself and know that there are people thinking about and praying for you.
