Nutty Card…..

011

Here is a quick, no stamp card using some new products from CTMH. I am a big fan of their felt die cuts and these are some new ones. I didn’t have a lot of mojo and wanted to post something for you guys.

Supplies: CTMH Twitterpated Lv2 PP, CTMH Twitterpated My Stickease, CTMH Heartfelt Wonder, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Nestibilities,

I just want to share with you, my cyber friends, that my family is going through some trying times and are in need of your prayers.  We have been dealt a hard blow and are still reeling. My husband, who is our bread winner, has been laid off. I know we are not alone in these times, and that a lot of American’s are struggling. I am praying hard and finding solace and courage in the words of Our Lord. My posts will probably be fewer over the next few weeks and  I just ask you to bear with me. Life is forcing me to reevaluate a lot of things.

Wishing you all a wonderful Thursday,

Enjoy!

I agree with Cibele, I'm 'nuts' about this card also. Can't wait to get my new goodies in and play.
I'll keep you and your precious family in my prayers as you are facing these uncertain times. remember that when God closes a door, he opens a window!
Blessings,
Kim xXx

I'm soooo sorry to hear that your hubby was laid off. That seems to be happening to so many people...still. I know it must be very difficult, but try to stay positive and keep praying. So many times when a door is closed a window will open. Funny how God works sometimes, but He always has your best in mind. ;)

BTW, your card with the felt die cuts is adorable! Very fun!

OMGosh, I just read Kim's comment and saw that she wrote almost the same thing!! That is weird...except that it's confirmation that what we said must be true. ;)

Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband's job. Unemployment is such a scary thing. I know you all will find your way. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Your card is adorable. I love those felt die cuts.

Hey Friend,
I will most assuredly be lifting up prayers. my DH's work situation is "iffy" right now (he's only working 4 day weeks at the moment because his company doesn't have enough work)but I speak from experience when I say God does indeed provide all of our needs - it has been amazing the way He has carried us through the past eighteen months. Please keep us updated on the everyday miracles you will see.
Love the card - so original, so adorable! Hugs.
The Lord your god is a sun and a shield,
He gives grace and glory,
No good thing will He withold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 I I remember correctly...)

Sarah, I will add your family to my prayer list. I have been part-time since January myself so I have been praying very hard for the economy to turn around and asking the Lord's direction.

Sarah! I was happily enjoying your adorable card when I came to your news. I'm SO sorry to hear of the difficulties you are facing. I will think good thoughts for you all as you weather this storm. You CAN do it! Steve was off work for 9 months not all that long ago and it WAS hard (thankfully not impossible), but a positive outlook and support (for me) from friends really, really helped. I wish I could reach through the computer and give you a huge hug. Let's hope this economy turns around soon. Hang in there!

I know it sounds cliche~ but everything does happen for a reason. Surely something good will come of this!
LOVE this card! (as I do all your projects!) What do mean, 'no mojo'??? This is FABULOUS! VERY cute indeed!!!

I am so sorry to hear this news for your family. If He brings you to it, He will bring you through it! Love the "nutty" card too- is that a Stickease sentiment?

Oh, Sarah! I am SO sorry. I didn't actually READ your post until last night and felt sick when I read your news. No, you're not alone, and yes, many of us have had our lives turned upside down at one time or another. Knowing that, however, probably doesn't make you feel a whole lot better right now. I so wish I could give you a hug. You'll have to settle, however, for my prayers. They are with you, my friend.
