Liz sketch 2 US sketch 44

The last Saturday in February..can you believe it! Well here is this weeks Sketch from Unscripted. I struggled with this one because of that offset piece…it took me SO long to come up with this card. My eyes have to have balance and this just would NOT work for me..that is until I added those big brads down the side…then my eye was appeased . The top layer is stamped and a little bling added…and though you can’t see it that well I sewed around the DP. All product except the wired organdy ribbon and the 3 brads is CTMH.

So fun to see what everyone comes up with for these sketches each week. Hope you join us this week and play along.

Enjoy

Your card is beautiful, Sarah! Great job with the challenging sketch!! I saw it on another blog earlier, and my reaction was "Yikes!" Like you, I need a semblance of balance.

I hope you're feeling better and have a great weekend.

This is so elegant, Sarah! I love it!! You did a great job 'balancing' it out, and all of your details are wonderful...and I especially like that delicious scrunched strip of organdy along the side!

Stunning card! The pewter brad is the perfect accent to the sentiment, and that ruffled organdy ribbon is beautiful.

I really love the way you did the ribbon! And I'm thinking I need to get some of those pewter accents.

Very pretty Sarah! Great job with the sketch (don't think I'm going to attempt that one - - I'm more of a symetrical girl myself!!!)
