Thank You…So Much

I cannot tell you how much I love these clear stamp images from Inkadinkado…Gorgeous!!!. I touched up this butterfly with some glitter from my Sakura glitter pen and some white with the Gelly roll pen… IRL it glitters.  The patterned paper is Basic Grey and  and ribbon and sentiment CTMH. Ink is Versafine black. I used a template to add the piercing around the image and some foam tape to pop up the butterfly/fairy image.

This card is for you…my followers and regular readers and commenters…I have been at this nearly a year now and I would not have imagined close to 20,000 hits and over 100 followers!!! Thank You!

It takes me about 1-2 hours every day to look at and comment on everyone’s blogs..!!!! I have realized that I just cannot do this every day. So I have decided look every day on reader and to comment every 2-3 days instead. I really hope you understand bear with me. I am so grateful for the friends I have made this last year…people who have touched my life that I would never have known if it were not for the internet, blogging, and sharing of art.

Thank You So Much my friends…we have been through a lot …..

Enjoy!

Absolutely gorgeous!

I have also cut way back on the blogs. I look at them every day in Reader but I only comment on a few blogs, I used to drop comments all over the place but I have cut it back to only leaving comments on those blogs whose owners take the time to comment on mine. Does that make sense?

Very pretty, Sarah! I love that butterfly stamp.
I do spend more time some days than others. I always look on reader and same as Penny, I comment on those that take the time for me as well. The one's that never comment back I don't waste my time.

This really is so pretty, I have a friend that LOVES butterfly stamps and has many, I will have to show her your card.
I also have added over 250 blog sites into google reader and have tried to get to as many as I can to leave a comment but it really eats up a lot of the day. I totally understand.

Sarah,

What a GORGEOUS card!!! I love it! Thank you! I understand - I spend a lot of time visiting the blogs, too, but so far, it's not interfering with my sleep or work! LOL You have to do what works best for you!

Hugs!

Hi Sarah,
Beautiful butterfly card! Love that kraft paper, I find myself reaching for it all the time. I know what you mean about commenting. It is fun, but not feasible on a reg basis. I comment on my regular reads fairly consistently and others only on occasion. We can't let it take over our lives - and that could easily happen! :)
Cheers,
Shanna

Hi Sarah, your card is so pretty. Really love that stamp. You have to study it a while to realize what you are seeing.
I know what you mean about hours checking and commenting on blogs. Like right now it is 12:15 and I should be sound asleep, but I keep saying one more, one more. Yours is the last of the night. I saved the best for last.

Love this card! The details in this stamp are gorgeous and your accents really bring them to life.

Thanks to you, I spent a good chunk of time on the Hope for Haiti blog hop (LOL) but it was time well spent. Everything in moderation my friend. :)

Okay...my jaw dropped when I looked at your post. WOW! What a stunning card, Sarah! I didn't know this was a clear stamp. I've seen it (and admired it) in wood, but not in clear. You've absolutely done it justice here! Thank you for sharing!

Congratulations on the growth you've seen in your blog over the past year. It's definitely well earned. I've loved watching your growth as a stamper/scrapper and cheering you on from the sidelines. You are truly talented!

I completely understand how you are feeling about the time it can take. My feeling is, you do what you can do. When this becomes like a job, you cut back. One thing I did was make a tag in Reader for blogs I wanted to be sure to look at and comment on, quite a few less than the number of blogs I look at, believe me. Yours is of course, in this list. I've got it at the top of my reader list of subscriptions, so I see those blogs first and foremost. Then I get to the others that I really like, but choose not to comment on. If I'm moved to do so, I will, but it takes a whole lot less time since I've done this. I don't know if this tip will work for you, but I've been quite happy since I did this.

Do what you can and leave the rest and please don't apologize for the steps you need to take to make your life easier!

Sorry for the novel...BIG HUGS to you!

Love it Sarah, your attention to details is astounding girl! Gorgeous butterfly!!

I totally understand...I too take a couple hours to try to comment on all of my peeps' blogs, and I am going to have to cut-back as well. You do what you need to do sweetie!

Your card is gorgeous, Sarah! I've been staring at it for the past several minutes! So much detail on that butterfly! You've done an outstanding job!

I completely understand what you're saying about blogging and commenting. Some days, I find that I've frittered the entire day away with blog hopping and commenting. Then I'm frustrated that I haven't made a card myself! Do what works best for you, that way you'll enjoy it more!

Have a wonderful day!
Barb

This is stunning Sarah and I also can not comment every day I used to try but it's a huge time factor! Beth

What a beautiful card!

I found that I have cut back on commenting, but I also have been receiving fewer comments. I found myself only commenting on blogs where the person didn't already have several comments...

I also always try to comment when someone is sharing something personal -whether good or bad. And as far as receiving comments, I try to remind myself that I started my blog for myself-not for anyone else so the comments are just icing on the cake!

Take care!

Stunning card, Sarah! I love your detail on the butterfly (that GORGEOUS butterfly!), and your sentiment looks so understated and lovely.

Congrats on your blog's rise in popularity...it's well deserved! I SOOOO know what you mean about not having time to blog hop and comment all the time. We were given a life to LIVE, not spectate (even as fun and inspirational as that can be sometimes). I get frustrated when I find I've spent my free time oggling others' crafty work when I could've been making something myself --duh! I've been working hard to change that and am happy to say it's working. ;) No need to apologize for taking control of your time and doing what fits your life...I will miss ya though, but I totally understand. I'm right there too.

Have a wonderful weekend!
