SK sketch 14 US sketch 42

Wow these Saturdays are flying by!!!! Welcome to another Sketch it Saturdays with Unscripted Sketches. I challenge you to shake off those winter blues and take this sketch by the horns and give it a go. MAKE IT YOURS. I know I am feeling the effects of this winter and the blahs have found their way into my crafting and blogging. SO, blow me away with your interpretations of this sketch! I NEED some inspiration.

As you can see I flipped the sketch on it’s side and used the image from my metallic embossing paste tutorial. LOVING this color combo. That cute little butterfly is one from CTMH’s new Just Blooms spring set!!! I am in LOVE with these flowers and butterflies. The sentiment is PTI.

So help me out here guys..give this challenge a try so I can come and get some inspiration from you…I need it!

Love me some winter Olympics..:0) downhill skiing is my favorite event, what’s yours?

Enjoy!

Beautiful card Sarah, I love the embossing on brown. You've inspired me! I always use that cuttlebug folder on pink or purple but I'm going to pull it out with something unexpected.

Oh, and I love figure skating...and the luge....and bobsledding too!

Beautiful card, Sarah! Your embossing is so pretty.

I to watch ice skating. It's the only winter sport I've done myself - but not like that! LOL.

The bobsledding and the skating are to of the things I like to watch. I love the opening last night. The part with the people hanging and the fake mountain was so cool.

What an incredibly beautiful card! You sure don't look like you need inspiration. I too love the Olympics. It's hard to decide my favorite sport- they're all really interesting to watch (and I'm not much of a sports person)!

As for the Olympics, I'm with Carla. Hockey is my fave but it's Team USA all the way! :)

This is gorgeous, Sarah!! The colors are so warm, and I love how the dry embossed background is reflected in your beautifully embossed image with the metallic paste (great job!).

Hope you're having a nice weekend and that the Olympic downhill skiing doens't remind you too much of the winter outside your door. lol ;)
