4x4 buggy cards…

Helllloooooo out there…yes I am still here !! And much improved by the increase in the daylight hours and some sunshine. We even opened the windows on Sunday (I am pretty sure it is bad grammar to start a sentence with the word ‘and’ though).

I made this set of 4 cards the other day just because I really wanted to color these awesome images. The bugs are Inkadinkadoo (I think) and the sentiment is a SSD stamp. Cardstock is CTMH and the ink is Versafine. I colored the images with Sakura glitter pens and IRL they are sooo sparkly…like jewels. I have to say a lot of my inspiration lately has definitely come from Kelley’s AWESOME cards on her blog My Front Porch….wow but she takes simple and just blows me away.

On a completely unrelated note , some movies I have watched lately and enjoyed…Julie and Julia, Star trek, Angels and Demons (but if you read the book…they chopped a LOT of the story). My kiddos thoroughly enjoyed Bolt, Up, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (requested that one twice even the teenager)….Gotta love Netflix

Well I hope you are all enjoying the longer days and warmer (if wetter) weather.

Enjoy!

Simple AND cute!! I thought about joining Netflix too--seems like a good deal for watching movies on the cheap--

Oh, I love these cards, Sarah! The simple style, too (of course).

Glad to hear you're feeling more chipper. I've had a rough winter, too, and am so ready for spring. It will come.

Have a great week!

Oh Sarah!!! LOVE those images, the card are gorgeous!

We also have Netflix, I still can't believe we used to rent from Movie Gallery and Blockbuster. The money we have saved using Netflix!!!

Spring was here today, actually it felt more like summer. I rearranged three rooms in the house, bought new curtains for all 3 kids' rooms and painted Matthew's bookshelf. Winter weather is so depressing...

So cute!! I have been super sick with a second round of strep throat--so I haven't been creating anything lately....I hope to make something soon! Thanks for the inspiration!

Sarah,
These are just the cutest little cards! They shout 'fun' and that's what crafting and stamping is all about! I love them!

(I have a habit of starting sentences with And ... but don't tell Marie! LOL)

I love these 'buggy' cards, Sarah! They're so crisp and clean, and definitely scream 'spring' to me! Like you, I am SO ready for some sunshine and would love to stop feeling like a popsicle all the time.

Sorry I've been MIA from blogland...just checked out the rest of your recent cards and I think you did an awesome job on the "U Rock" one, and the PTI floral one is super sweet too --LOVE the sunshine-y colors you're using with them too. ;)

Hope you're feeling completely well SOON...and thanks for the recommendations for all the kids' movies. Mine have seen Bolt, but I think I'll have to add the others to my que this week. ;)

Sarah, these are fantastic cards! I just love how you make "simple" equal fantastic! I finally found that butterfly stamp you used not long ago and almost bought it, but put it back since I've not been cardmaking lately. At least I know where to get it if that mojo comes back. LOL

I'm so glad you are starting to feel better! Nothing like a bit of sunshine to improve one's outlook!

Have a great week!

Honey, your simple blows me away! I always love your cards and they are so professional! I love all of these and I do think my fave is the sweet dragonfly! Just darling, as always! I'm glad you are getting sunshine and have the windows open. I hope to have mine open by the weekend. We should have upper 60's then.

Wowie, Sarah! Great bug cards! I love them all, but the dragonfly is probably my favorite bug - so I like that card bestest. Really nice, inspiring work!
